Top Secret Photo Ops in Sonoma County + Beyond

The Bay Area and Sonoma County are known for their breathtaking scenery, and historic landmarks and parks. This is why it’s a photographer's dream destination to shoot a wedding or event, and we’ve got the inside scoop from some of the area's best professional event photographers on where they like to shoot timeless, beautiful photos.

Annadel State Park

Located on the eastern edge of Santa Rosa, Annadel State Park is known for it’s hiking trails, mountain biking and trail riding. But what most locals anticipate is the Spring season when the park explodes with a California Super Bloom. Paired with the rolling hills and old-twisted oak trees, this makes it one of Event Photographer’s Elise Aileen’s favorite spots to capture an adventurous and memorable moment with you and your loved one’s.

The Presidio

Shrouded in an eclectic history and nestled right amongst the Golden Gate Bridge, The Presidio in San Francisco is one of the most beautiful backdrops for exceptional photography.  Photographers like Melissa Atle love the spanish architecture, rolling hills, and sense of place The Presidio offers when photographing her clients.

Luther Burbank Home and Gardens

Luther Burbank is one of Sonoma County's most memorable and influential characters. His original home and a portion of his experimental gardens have been preserved and are open to the public. Photographers love the light that filters through the historic oak tree into the rose garden at dusk, and the gigantic century old spineless cactus that Burbank experimented with to feed Sonoma County’s thriving dairy cattle industry.

Songbird Parlour

Nestled along the winding roads of the sleepy town of Glen Ellen, Songbird Parlour is truly a hidden gem. Step through the doors to be transported into a grand Victorian era when the social elite would gather in salons to discuss art and culture. With rich emerald walls, lux modern decor, and an epic mural installed by a local artist, Photographer Tifani Beecher agrees this space exudes a moody, elegant vibe that will make for a unique wine country experience and beautiful styled photoshoots for weddings or product and brand development alike!
