Glen Ellen’s Newest Wine Bar

One of Sonoma Counties best new(ish) wine bars…

Passaggio Wine Bar’s outdoor patio

Inspired by her grandfather's Italian heritage and old-world style wines, owner and winemaker Cindy Cosco opened a tasting room in Sonoma Square in 2014. After making a difficult decision in the wake of Covid and high rents, Cindy closed her doors to the Sonoma Square location, but only to reopen shortly after in the historic Jack London Village in Glen Ellen. With the help of Cindy Martinson, Sonoma local, and seasoned wine industry professional, the two worked in collaboration to build a space that was airy, relaxed and welcoming to both locals and tourists alike. They wanted anyone to be able to stop by for a casual glass or bottle of wine, bring a picnic lunch to nosh with one of Cindy’s food-friendly wines, and enjoy some local live music on their outdoor patio adjacent to the Sonoma Creek.

Their wine list includes varieties that utilize more obscure Italian wine grapes such as Aglianico and Montepulciano in a selection of whites, reds and roses, all of which pair fantastically with food.

So come on down to the Jack London Village to visit Cindy and Carol, enjoy a delicious glass of wine, an afternoon lunch at Yeti or The Mill, or if you’re lucky-enough, catch a dinner at one of Songbird Parlour's famous Fried Chicken pop ups. “We’re a ‘little village’ here”, Carol exclaims, “and we love serving and working alongside our neighbors.”
